You Call the Shots!Q. How many people does it take to produce a three-camera shoot at Gloucester City Hall?A. One volunteer! The City of Gloucester has purchased and installed a complete studio at City Hall for live three-camera shoots for municipal meetings. The director sits at a table with an audio board and a robotic joy stick unit that controls the camera shots. If you want to be the director, Cape Ann TV will teach you all you need to know. Completion of CATV's Introductory Television Production Classes is a pre-requisite for Access Producers who wish to use CATV equipment and facilities. The Introductory Course teaches the operation of our field cameras (DVCPro, DV, miniDV) and covers our access guidelines. This class consists of two sessions, usually the first two Mondays of the month. Classes are free for members, classes meet at the CATV Studio from 6:30pm - 8:00pm. Upon satisfactory completion of the two-week course members may check out field equipment to videotape the program of their choice or make a reservation for a studio production.
